What if it’s raining?

Unfortunately we cannot guarantee a blue sky. If the weather is actually dangerous for boating, we will postpone and reschedule the charter. Rescheduled charters must be used within 6 months of the original booking date.

Sydney Harbour is known as one of the safest harbours in the world and is well protected from strong ocean currents and ocean winds.

We will arrange catering for you at 20% on top of the actual cost, but most guests choose to bring their own food and drinks.

What should I wear?

Bring appropriate clothing (including hat, sunglasses, long sleeved shirts) to wear during the day and even in summer the evenings on the water can be cool so it’s a nice idea to pack some warm clothing. Heels or regular soles could be uncomfortable or unsafe onboard – we highly recommend joggers or soft shoes with non-slip soles. If you feel you might want a swim, don’t forget to pack your swimming costume and a towel.

Do I need to wear a Lifejacket?

Not unless directed to by the Skipper. XTsea is required to carry an appropriate lifejacket for all passengers and we carry adult lifejackets, but there are a limited number of smaller jackets to suit children. If your guest list includes small children or babies please let us know so we can talk about options.

If you WANT to wear a lifejacket, please let us know and one will be provided.

We do have an iPod full of music we like but your tastes may differ. If you want to hear your own music our stereo has a bluetooth facility. We also have USB chargers so your music and phone won’t die half way through your charter.

Make sure you bring your fully charged camera to capture those precious memories for a lifetime. We usually have a high quality camera on board to take any photos for you at no extra cost.
